Different color Easter egg on a grass



To kick start Easter weekend we’re keeping our fingers crossed for some lovely Spring sunshine over  Woolton as we will also be hosting a kids Easter egg hunt on Good Friday from 12pm-1pm out in the garden with enough chocolate to make up for any potential drizzle.



On Saturday afternoon, we will be welcoming back our furry friends and cuddly rabbits to The Elephant from 12pm until 4pm for an extra special Easter Petting Zoo, perfect for the whole family.
Joining us for the Easter weekend fun there will be sheep, lambs, Boer goats, ducks, hens, baby rabbits, pigs and some pygmy goats that have been sponsored by Simon Rimmer himself!

We’re expecting quite a crowd, so booking is highly recommended if you would like to dine with us that day.


This Easter weekend, our chefs have curated a selection of specials worth rising for… even after a few too many gin balloons the night before!

Our finest foodie connoisseurs have specially curated a selection of dishes for each day of the Easter weekend, to finally get us into the spring spirit.
For the entire weekend, we will be serving our chef’s best frito misto with an aioli dip to start, then for each day of the weekend, expect an Elephant one-off main course special to tease your taste buds and prepare us all for the warmer days to come. Bring on spring!

Good Friday – Roasted seabass, chorizo butter sauce, tenderstem broccoli, spinach & smokey almonds.
Holy Saturday – Pulled lamb & tzatziki burger
Easter Sunday – Maple glazed roast gammon roast

Space for pud? Of course you do!
Why not give into our super indulgent Crème egg sundae, because realistically when are you going to get another chance to eat your body weight in chocolate Easter eggs again this year? One sin can surely be forgiven!
