WOOLTON TAKES IT HOME

On Thursday the 6th of September, a group of our company’s most ambitious and talented chefs headed over to Trafford College in Altrincham to compete in this year’s “Mission Mars Chef of The Year” competition, judged by our very own Simon Rimmer & exec team.

Tasked with creating their own three course menu, both our Head Chef Barry McKee and Junior Sous Chef Andy Holmes battled it out against 8 other applicants to be rightfully crowned as Mission Mars Senior and Junior Chefs of the year.

The prize? Both of our accomplished Chefs took home £500, along with a set of personalised chef whites AND an all expenses paid trip to Italy next month with Simon himself. It’s safe to say that spirits were at an all time high on their valiant return to Woolton and we couldn’t be prouder!
