Upstairs at the Elephant is our exclusive event space, lovingly restored to offer the perfect location for every memorable occasion. Our beautiful Grade II listed building is located right in the heart of the leafy suburb Woolton village, home to Liverpool’s Iconic superstars ‘The Beatles’.
The ideal space for hosting birthdays, christenings, anniversaries, meetings and memorial events.
The Fine Details…
The function room is equipped with its own private bathrooms. The room is open plan but with two sections, with a large amount of natural light through the large sash windows on the right-hand side. The private space is situated on the first floor of the pub. Please note this is the only access, as such the room is unfortunately not wheelchair friendly. There is no bar on the floor, but table service is provided.
Upstairs at the Elephant is a versatile space and can accommodate up to 75 guests for a stand-up buffet event or a maximum of 45 seated places for a formal dining experience.

We are very serious about food here at The Elephant, so rest assured that each of our menus are lovingly created – using only the very best local suppliers to deliver fresh, great tasting food. The perfect accompaniment to the lasting memories we look forward to creating for you.

T’s & C’s
All our hires are based on a 4 hour block unless otherwise confirmed by management. We require a £250 deposit with 7 days of all buffet bookings, and £5pp for all Large Party Dining. We do not allow confetti or wall hangings across our venues due to the damage they may cause to furniture or fittings. A £30 cleaning charge will be added to all bills if confetti/wall hangings are used.
